These bible-based cultural values help shape who we are and intend to be as a church. We work together on these values.

Our Cultural Values

  • 1. We learn and follow Jesus' teaching.

We strive to embed the Word of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ in our life. Jesus is the foundation and the centre of our church life.

  • 2. Human traditions do not bind us.

God never changes, but He is creative and has many creative ways. So, we seek innovative ways of doing things.

  • 3. We are practical as well as spiritual.

Guided by the Holy Spirit, we use practical and approachable ways to help people to find their identity in Christ and to carry out God's works effectively.

  • 4. We are intergenerational and offer something to all ages.

People of all ages share the experience of working together for the fullness of God's kingdom. We honour elders and forefathers of faith and build up the next generation to inherit God's promises.

  • 5. We welcome people from all backgrounds and walks of life.

All people are respected and loved in the church and grow in their faith in Christ.

  • 6. We pray and listen to Holy Spirit to deepen our relationship with God.

We have a prayer life that aligns our heart with God's heart. We find answers that bring peace and fulfilment through persevering prayer.

  • 7. We worship and evangelise, and we repeat.

God created us to worship Him. We worship God and carry out a mission where worship doesn't exist.

  • 8. Everyone is responsible for their spiritual growth.

Pastors and leaders help, listen and suggest biblical principles and practices for spiritual growth. Still, ultimately the choice and decision are yours to make. God is a personal God; we encourage everyone to have a personal relationship with Him.

  • 9. Conforming to the image of Christ is our lifestyle and a life-long journey.

Jesus challenges our carnal thoughts and ways, and we improve ourselves by applying the Gospel in our life with the help of the Holy Spirit.

  • 10. We prepare the way of the Lord.

We do not know when the second coming of Christ is and believe no one does except the Father. Yet we live a life of faith that reflects an attitude towards the second coming of Christ.
